Socialphy Protocol Details

Introduction

Socialphy is a virtual community where users share, evaluate, and select the best information they find every day on the Internet and create their own content based on different subjects (music, images, news, videos, etc.). This site works with Web 2.0 (user generated content). In order to keep all the published information clean and organized, we have created several rules (or Protocol) that must be respected by all site participants. Please note that moderators reserve the right to edit all content posted on Socialphy.

Socialphy is divided into two main sections. The first is called "Posts", and the second is called "Communities." The site as a whole has its own rules and there are also rules that apply specifically to each section of the site. There is a General Protocol which applies to all materials, and specific protocols for Posts, Comments, Communities, and Users.
For guidelines and recommendations about how to make quality material please see our tips about how to make a good post.
The following is the General Protocol which applies to all materials, and later you can find specific protocols for Posts, Comments, Communities, and Users.

  • User Complaints: Complaints and/or opinions about the rules and/or operation and/or administration of the site. Comments and suggestions can be made in this section.

Community Only Protocol

A Community acts as a forum to ask questions and/or discuss a topic. There are general rules and norms which represent the basic management philosophy of Socialphy and must be respected by each and every one of the "Communities." Likewise, each community may choose their own rules and regulations provided that these do not contradict those established in this Protocol. Please be aware of the material that is permitted in Communities but not permitted in Posts.
Any material found in the Communities section will be deleted or sent for modification if it contains:

  • User with Twin Communities: A community that has already been created by the same user is considered a twin. It is permitted to have communities of the same topic but not if they are by the same user.
  • Overly Specific Communities: Communities which are too specific will be deleted. For example, a community dedicated to the Pink Floyd song, "Another Brick in the Wall" is too specific and not an appropriate topic for a Community.
