I made this post to share some info about pretty random travel destinations that you may or may not have heard
of..Enjoy!



1. Alaska







Why do I want to go?
Denali National Park and Mendenhall Glacier in North Tongass National Forest are of interest, as is the large totem pole collection at Sitka National Historical Park. The Katmai National Park includes the “Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes,” an area of active volcanoes. Also, want to learn about the Inuit and Native American cultures who have lived there for years.



2. Iceland





Why do I want to go?
Reykjavík, the main city was named one of the greenest cities in the world. A lot of good music comes out of Iceland for example the band Sigur Rós and the singer Bjork are awesome and both from Iceland. Haha!


3. Malta







Why do I want to go?
Malta is the EU’s smallest nation in terms of population and area. It is an archipelago of around seven islands (of which only Malta, Gozo and Comino are inhabited) in the Mediterranean Sea, with Sicily in the north, Tunisia in the west and Libya in the south
The language: Maltese people speak the Maltese language, a Semitic language written in the Latin alphabet in its standard form. The language is descended from Siculo-Arabic, a dialect of Arabic spoken in Sicily and surrounding Southern Italy from the ninth century.[12] In the course of Malta's history, the language has adopted large amounts of vocabulary from Sicilian, Italian, English, and to a smaller degree, French. The official languages of Malta are English and Maltese, with Italian also widely spoken. Sounds awesome to me!



4. Andaman and Nicobar Islands









Why do I want to go?
There are 572 islands in the territory having an area of 8,249 km2 (3,185 sq mi). Of these, only 38 are permanently inhabited. Need I say more?
