Hi people! The last weekend I went to Lavalleja, Uruguay - I live in Montevideo - and my father had the idea to go to Salus park, if you do not know what Salus is, I'm explaining it in a while, I have to tell you also that I'm not a photographer, even though the pictures were taken by me, it was the first time I picked up a camera and started shooting everything I thought it was going to look amazing, here I start to explain what Salus is and to show the photos taken in the place, I hope you'll enjoy it



Origin of Salus water

Salus water comes from a hidden spring in Coronilla range, designation of Salus park site, is a beautiful valley at the beginning of the Águilas and Ceballos hills in the city of Minas, department of Lavalleja, between ranges and a unique vegetation comes Salus water from which, for years, has been attributed healing powers, Natives, first surprised for this gift of the stone, recognized healing properties in this water. Sick ones placed in the spring hopes for a cure and they started to visit it from different places of the territory.
This fountain, known as "Talas de la Salud" fountain is at 268 meters above sea level and it has a never accurately calculated flow, constantly the 24 hours of the day.

The designation "Talas de la Salud" fountain is because its healing powers and also it is because it was hidden in Coronilla range, rounded by trees, furthermore of about another native species.

The fountain is known nowadays as Puma fountain.

OK people, I know I did not published any photo of the fountain because the flow was very low that day, it hasn´t rained since a while here in Uruguay, so it wasn`t so interesting to watch as with the big flow coming down
