I'm in love with this new pop up hotel concept I read about. Conceived by a group of Belgian artists called Time Circus, the new temporary hotel by the name of AirHotel combines glamping (luxury camping), treehouses and circus performances. It looks and sounds like some kind of surreal, Midsummer Night's Dream-esque fairytale experience.

The hotel is situated in woods of the grounds of Holt Hall in the north of Norfolk in the UK and features nine fantastical rooms hanging among the trees. Check out the photo below:

Each unique cocoon-like pod sleep two to six people, and ranges from a giant bird's nest with a double bed hidden from view amid a tangle of twigs to a lotus flower with unfurling petals of parachute fabric, a floating wooden zeppelin suite, and a treetop box made from throwaway materials. And taking things up a notch from your average camping experience (to glamping status), each room comes with top notch bedlinen and personal night journals where guests can record their dreams and experiences. There's all the Wellness Machine room that offers an eco-friendly sauna and lounge bar.

Quirky architecture aside, the hotel experience also includes theatrical circus performances, from a geisha girl, to the Strongest Granny in the Entire World and 'aerial hostesses' who bring room service several metres up to your door, accompanied by a poem or a song. Even your wake-up call is performed by a dawn chorus.

The hotel is only around for the month of May and each guest can only stay one night. Sounds like a really fun experience providing you get lucky with the notoriously bad British weather and the rain stays away.
