I am a fan of photography in motion. That's why I thought it was a great idea to catch dogs in the middle of their wild head shaking!

"Fur, fuzz and spit flying in an instant, it’s all you can do to get out of the way; many dog owners are more than familiar with their canine friends wild head shaking."

Pet and animal photographer Carli Davidson is no stranger to these four legged shakes either, in fact she’s created a series “Shake,” featuring those distorted and blissful dog faces right in the middle of thier spin cycle.

This is just a small sample of the Portland Oregon artists excellent work. She has a background in both commercial and documentary photography, as well as over 7 years experience as an animal trainer and caretaker. As well as taking great portraits of pets and their keepers, she currently acts as an animal care tech and official photographer for the Oregon Zoo. See her many great captures at carlidavidson.photoshelter.com.
