As a kid I always enjoyed watching the show "Bill Nye The Science Guy" and was able to enjoy while learning. Each episode is centered on an area of scientific study, varying in level of focus from a single concept to an entire discipline. The show's eponymous host, dressed like a cross between a Mad Scientist and a birthday party magician, would teach the subject with a genuine level of excitement and interest most men reserve for the Super Bowl.

Here are some videos to help remind you what the show was all about and maybe refresh your science memory bank...

Editor's note: Nye's latest effort called "Consider The Following" is a series of short videos in support of the ExploraVision Awards that are designed to get young people "excited about science so that we will have more scientists and especially engineers in the future so that we can—dare I say it—change the world."
