Nothing beats eating and drinking off of real china but china wear has a bit of a stigma attached to it and doesn't necessarily go well in the hip, modern day home. Well here's your solution. Check out this arty porcelain dish collection.
Italian company Seletti recently commissioned creative studio CTRLZAK to design a series of porcelain dishware known as the "Hybrid Collection". And it is indeed a hybrid mix of aesthetics, namely the East versus the West. Each quirky piece (bowls, mugs, cups, saucers, plates) is divided straight down the middle and features two distinctive styles, colors and patterns juxtaposed together reminiscent of traditional China and English garden parties. I think it's quite a fun design idea.
It certainly beats the flowery porcelain China sets in your grandma's kitchen and will no doubt appeal to the fashion set.
