Hey Guys! Sure you know that the world's oceans have yet to be discovered. I think this submarine will come in handy! Part submarine, part ocean lab. Powered by solar, wind and wave energy. Created by French architect Jacques Rougerie, the 170 feet-tall SeaOrbiter is set to start building before the end of 2012 as the world’s first vertical vessel to sail for oceanography research. Looks like a wickedly awesome vessel that might just induce the odd combination of vertigo and seasickness at the same time.
looking at the first images I thought: how will it move? what's it going to run on?? and then, when watching the vid I understood it... it meant to be moved by North Atlantic ocean's currents!!
Let's cross our fingers for the success of the whole proyect! great Post, btw
