What is deja vu? Is it paranormal? Have you experienced it? Can we cause it to happen, and if so, would there be any benefits?
Deja vu, is the impression that one has already witnessed or experienced a current situation, even though the exact circumstances of the prior encounter are unclear and/or were perhaps imagined.
The Déjà vu, the sensation of having lived through a situation of a very similar way, has evaded explanations per centuries.
Now, the study first in using virtual reality to create a model of the phenomenon in a laboratory is helping to explain this illusion.
Previous studies of the déjà vu suggest that this sensation has great that to see with the space-time.
Taking in it counts it, the cognitive psychologist Anne Cleary, of the State University of Colorado, and his colleagues, they were given to the task of seeing if the spaces actually virtual can answer an old experience.
The scientists assembled university students going, on his heads, screens of video that was turning them immersed to a representation in 3-D of virtual reality on a so called people " Deja Ville ".
The virtual locality was incorporated into 128 scenes that were divided in couples that secretly were equal in elements and his position, to create identical caps of space.
The investigators thought that the déjà vu happens generally when new scenes perform very similar to the experienced thing before in spatial terms, but not it sufficiently similar in order that the persons recognize the similar one.
" A reason of this discordant sensation that accompanies the déjà vu can be the contrast between the sense of the new thing and the simultaneous sensation of antiquity " Cleary said.
" A situation that is alike other one in the memory can be a particular and good candidate of reproducing this simultaneous recognition of the new thing close to a sense of familiarity " was assured by him.
Another theory, according to Cleary in his report, is that the person estubo distracted in the previous experience, doing mas difficultly to remember when we are appeared by a new and similar scene.
If this way they were the circumstances, the déjà vu might originate in a great variety of senses that agree with the vague memory.
If you have some "Deja Vu" that to count you should not hesitate to put it in the comments.
