Who would be the main character of Grand Theft Auto V? Well, there are a lot of people out there, speculating the former characters would return back to GTA V. Here are some examples to speculate about the characters Claude, Vercetti, Niko Bellic, CJ or Catalina. But according to PSM3, it’s not them.



That fat, homeless guy seems to be Niko Bellic. Probably not, but he’s wearing Niko Bellic’s clothes. According to PSM3, he looks more like Packy McReary from GTA IV, who was seen leaving Liberty City.



The tattooed dude, running away from the Police, some say it’s CJ from GTA SA.(REALLY?), but he does look like one of the jewelry heist team.



The phantom lady some say it’s Catalina, we say… well, maybe. Except cameos from many former stars, but we’re backing an all-new primary cast.



Some fans say its an old Tommy Vercetti from GTA Vice City, but that doesn’t make sense. Vercetti was born in 1951, but GTA V seems present day. In the first trailer, there were a lot of modern bikes and cars there. So he would be about 60 years old (that man appeared in GTA V traler is 10-15 years younger).

Claude, the hero of GTA 3 who cameos in GTA San Andreas. Obviously, Claude was a mute hero that we can say whether he would be or not be the main character, but GTA 3 was set in 2001 (he also appeared in SA as a teenage). This seems unlikely.

Regarding the main character, there are only two possibilities about the main character “Albert or Simon”. Albert and Simon don’t appear in the main character that they are alluded to through other characters.

Albert is more likely to be the main character “Albert’s son, Kevin, a soft, fat 18 year-old who smokes a lot of weed and overcompensates by playing online games and making racist comments – suggesting the narrator, a dad, might be Albert.”

Simon is referred to via Nervous Jerry, a 48 years old paranoiac who lives in the sticks near Simon and is terrified of him (it’s more evidence that Albert is the main character). Simon is still likely to threaten people and may be luring his brother into evil ways, but Albert is trying to reform ”I wanted to retire from that thing I was doing you know from that, that line of work… be a good man for once”

Also, PSM3 says “People want him to be Claude or Vercetti, but we think it’s Albert De Silva. We’ll see”. In conclusion, the most probable answer would be Albert because here is a lot of evidence to prove is Albert. However, who is your favorite characters? Please tell us by commenting below.
