So what the report reveals 'Business Footprint: Global Office Locations 2011' prepared by the CB Ricahrd Ellis through the data provided by 280 companies within the Fortune Global 500.

For cities, Madrid is the only Spanish representative in the 'top 15', to take eighth place globally, ahead of cities like New York or Paris. In fact, at the European level is in third place, just behind London and Moscow.

In terms of sectors, the Spanish capital stands out for the high number of media companies, technology and telecommunications, where there are more than 75% of large companies in this sector, as in London or Bombay.
