JACK WHITE IS COMING OUT WITH A SOLO ALBUM! I am so excited, I love him!

I can't believe it's already the first anniversary of the official WHITE STRIPES split...that's why he announed the news! I was upset about the split because I'm a huge fan, but at least he is still making music.

He and bandmate Meg White parted ways on 2 February last year (11) and now White is heading out on his own.

Blunderbuss will be released in April (12) on White's Third Man Records label.



The rocker says, "I've put off making records under my own name for a long time but these songs feel like they could only be presented under my name. These songs were written from scratch, had nothing to do with anyone or anything else but my own expression, my own colours on my own canvas."
