Hello and Welcome to my Post!

First I am going to be really honest with you. I don't know how to play the guitar! But, I really want to learn how to sing (it's one of my life dreams) so I decided my best bet is to try singing super easy songs and playing them on a guitar. I hope you find them helpful!


First and foremost

The Tablature

The Tablature is a representation of the arm of the guitar using six horizontally arranged lines. Each represent the strings of the guitar.
On the left, at the beginning of each horizontal line are encrypted letters that indicate the notes of each string. The highest pitched notes start at the top, ie this the first line you draw, sometimes the first string is drawn with a lowercase "e" next to it.

Basically, the tab indicates which notes should be played and exactly where they should be played (this is the great difference with respect to the score in that one must infer that that's where they put their fingers.) Numbers represent the fret where each note is located. if it says 0 it is an open string.

At first it may be seem complicated but the tablature actually requires much less commitment to the score. Note that when there are several numbers on top of each other (as in the example) this means you should play them at the same time, and it represents a chord. The TAB should be read as any text, from left to right.
