I'm not ashamed to say that my favorite music has to be the music of the 80s. There's nothing quite like some classic 80s music to get you going. What better background music to dance around your living room to? There's never been anything quite like it since. A mix of classic rock, power ballads and pop. Sooo for my #weekendchallenge here are my top 10 80s tune (not in any particular order). Listen to all of them one after another. Also makes for a great karaoke play list

1. Bon Jovi - Livin' on a Prayer. Bon Jovi had it back then even with that shaggy blonde mane. And he's still got it now. Classic rock at its best.

2. Prince - When Doves Cry. Not even sure what we're supposed to call him now. Symbol formerly known as Prince? Prince formerly known as symbol formerly known as Prince? You gotta love him. And his choice of outfits.

3. Cyndi Lauper - Time After Time. Now that's what I call a power ballad. Love her flaming red hair.

6. Lionel Richie - All Night Long. Yeah, Lionel Richie is the king of cheese but there's nothing wrong with a bit of cheesy music from time to time. You can't help but sing along to this.

7. Rick James - Super Freak. Every time I hear this song now I just think of the scene in the movie Little Miss Sunshine when they do the dance routine at the beauty pageant. Classic.
