Byrne just made an installation in the great public park in Chelsea, NYC called the highline. It's an Outdoor inflatable installation with internal sound component.

2. He just wrote an book called The Bicycle Diaries.
Bicycle Diaries chronicles David’s observations and insights — what he is seeing, whom he is meeting, what he is thinking about — as he pedals through and engages with some of the world’s major cities.

3. He has art installations in Tokyo. One of which is a bunch of guitar pedals.
