As his town is flooded by water, an aged widower is forced to add additional levels onto his home with bricks (cubes) in order to stay dry. But when he accidentally drops his favorite smoking pipe into the lower submerged levels of his home, his search for the pipe eventually makes him relive scenes from his eventful life.
This cute little student film, a graduation project by Ya-ting Yu with classmates Yeh Ya-hsuan and Chung Ling from the National Taiwan University of Arts, owes a lot to Miyazaki. But they’ve picked up the right ideas from the Master and the finished film, Out Of Sight, is loaded with imagination and heart.
Since Daddy had put a key around the little girl's neck, she became lonelier. The only thing the little girl can do is to hope that her Daddy would come back and see her sometimes. However, the key means missing and hoping to the little girl. The kid hopes that key could open a nice and warm space instead of a ice-cold and no parents home one.

Birthday Boy, by Korean-born Sejong Park, is a computer animated short film set in 1951 - during the destructive Korean War. Little Manuk is playing aorund his war ravaged village and dreaming of life at the front, where his father is a soldier. It is his birthday and when he returns home to find a parcel on the doorstep he innocently assumes it to be a present and opens it.
