Millions remember the countdowns, launchings, splashdowns and parades as the U.S. raced the USSR to the Moon in the 1960s, but few know that both superpowers also ran parallel covert space programs to launch military astronauts on spying missions. As you might have guessed already, this is a cold war documentary, produced by C. Scott Willis and James Bamford which focuses on a hint about a Pilot named Lawyer which leads them to a secret program held by a secret agency division inside the pentagon. This program was meant to be so secret that even the pilots who enroled for the programe didn't know that they actually were compiting with each other to get pilot a special kind of plane; the spaceship.
