Hi im Lloyd Christmas this is my firts post in Socialphy, is nice to be here sharing some pics to all of you.

Now check out this list of geek gear you can wear in public, without looking like a total nerd!

Star Wars Shoes

Last year adidas put out a bunch of Star Wars shoes. Many are based upon specific characters like R2-D2 and Darth Vadar, but others have more general design themes, offering you shoes that both celebrate Star Wars and look good in general.

Easily the best design in this regard is the Rebel Fighter flavor. The color scheme is cool all by itself, while also accurately recreating the film's great X-Wing uniforms. It's the best of both worlds, and will serve you far better than those weird hair-covered Wampa shoes.

Mario Sweater Vest

A good sweater vest can really class-up the joint. Combine it with a button-up shirt and a nice tie, and you're ready to go conquer some job interviews. Normally this clothing item does not mix well with nerdy obsessions, but there are exceptions to every rule.

The sheer audacity of this one will turn heads, but in a good way since the sweater is so impressive. And who doesn't love Mario? It's not like you're wearing a giant knit Dungeons and Dragons sweater vest. Wear it with pride as you go conquer Corporate World 1-1.

Harry Potter Shirt

This one's for girls. But if Twilight has taught us anything, it's that girls can be nerds too. And when they're not reading Twilight, many of them are reading Harry Potter. And hopefully UGO.com. Hello, ladies!

This gem takes the time-honored tradition of T-shirts with fake ties drawn on them and unites it with a fictional property that everyone on Earth is at least a little familiar with. It's nerdy, but totally in a hot librarian kind of way, so go for it. Hopefully, you're not too upset you didn't get into Slytherin.

Bill Hader showing the Nike shoes from Back to the Future

Back to the Future Shoes

We don't have hover boards. We don't have flying cars. We don't have self-drying jackets. We don't even have hydrating ovens. But, by golly, we got some Back to the Future shoes this year. They aren't self-lacing, but they light up and look all kinds of cool whether you love Back to the Future or not.

And here's the best part if you're worried about looking like a nerd: the shoes cost anywhere from $15,000-$1,000,000,000. So people who see you wearing them will automatically assume you are a better person than they are.

Green Lantern Ring

The Green Lantern ring does a good job of showing your geekdom without shoving it in anyone's face. For one thing, it's a ring so people won't notice it right away. But it's also a cool design which non-fans might not even recognize. If they do, they'll just associate it with the recent Green Lantern movie, which they likely enjoyed because, after all, they aren't comic book fans to begin with.

When it comes to Green Lantern rings, you have many varieties to choose from. Do you choose the classic look or the movie look? Or maybe you don't want a green ring. Perhaps you'd feel more comfortable wearing a Yellow Sinestro Corps ring, or one of those cool Black Zombie Corps rings. If you see someone wearing a Red Corps ring, don't cut them off in traffic.

Freddy Krueger Sweater

He may have been the bastard son of a hundred maniacs, but Freddy Krueger had some pretty decent fashion sense. While his Indiana Jones-esque Fedora doesn't work equal magic on everyone who attempts to wear one, the red and black striped sweater is always a good bet. In fact, it's such a simple design that millions are probably walking around dressed like Freddy Krueger right now without even knowing it. But you'll know it. And people who know what's best for them will give you wide berth.

If you really want to get crazy, you can throw on some Freddy Krueger shoes to match. Just tell everyone you spilled a little red paint on them.

Well thats all for today, i hope you enjoy my first post.
