Beautiful Stockholm Subway Art

The Subway network of Stockholm, Sweden, has been called the longest art gallery in the world. Opened up in 1950, the Stockholm Metro system today has 100 stations; 47 underground and 53 above ground. Over 90 of the 100 subway stations have been decorated with sculptures, mosaics, paintings, installations, engravings and reliefs by over 150 artists. The coolest part of the Stockholm metro system is the cavemen, rainbows and much more unique artwork that are worth a glimpse
