He's led an interesting, intenste life, filled with border experiences - but can we really speak about border experiences or is it that our life are a bit flat?- With his pictures, he seeks to show the reality because we know it, images speak louder than words. He founded an association called Aina, which helps women to show their everyday life with cameras and radios. He travels a lot to take pictures and to talk to people. He doesn’t spend a lot of time with his family but he thinks that it is more important to take advantage of his family than spend a lot of time without making the most of it.

Reza Deghati has worked for the magazines Neewsweek, Time and National Geographic who also has written 17 books and many films have been shot on his life and work. The latest film about him is « Parvaz ».
