Good afternoon everyone.. This is a post to show an OC made to my processor: AMD Sempron 140 2.7GHz, changed to AMD Athlon II x2 4400e (dual-core) 2.7GHz with the UCC (or Unlock CPU Core) function. In this OC I'll change the CPU/HT reference from 200MHz to 220MHz. To undestand what an OC is, read here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overclock
I'll use this programs, which eOC and eSF are from my motherboard manufacturer, ECS. -eOC: ECS (EliteGroup) OverClocking (OC software and temperature checker) -eSF: ECS SmartFan (to check the Fan speed) -AIDA64: -also known as Everest, to make the System Stability Test and check the system with CPUID
ATTENTION: I do NOT use this OC mode, I only use the UCC function which is on the BIOS Setup. Using all the time the OC will most probbly damage the stability of your system. This OC is totally basic, it could be make way more bigger. If you want to make an OC, YOU ARE DOING IT AT YOUR OWN RISK
The TEMPERATURE value after OCing, is meanwhile the Stability test is running, otherwise it wouldn't be that temperature, would be about 26°C/27°C.
BEFORE OC
AFTER OC
If you have an AMD processor and a motherboard that supports the UCC function and want to do it, ask me and I will help you! Comment

My CPU temperature is always over 50c , overclocking it is not a good idea.

Hahaha, you should really consider on getting a new CPU FAN, or at least a chasis fan ^^
I didn't understand a word!! but, I think that you're trying to speed up your new cpu, right?
LOL! If you want to, I can explain it further ^^.. It's not new, but my motherboard, which supports the UCC ^^
i think socialphy is lucky to have people like you making posts. nice work!
