Why shell out a lot of money on expensive beauty products when you can pamper yourself at home with all natural ingredients and spend less? I've been experimenting with different home beauty treatments recently and mixing up random concoctions in the kitchen... some of which worked well.. others which didn't....

This avocado face mask is definitely worth trying. Avocados aren't just yummy, they are rich in monounsaturated fat that helps the skin to stay moisturized and hydrated every day. This is great for cleaning your pores, moisturizing and, of course, relaxing! Oh, and avocados are a great source of potassium, whether you're eating them or slapping them on your face, keeping your skin young and healthy. The mask certainly left my skin feeling nice and soft.

Just don't be tempted to start eating your face off

Avocado Face Mask:
(note: you can make up the mix and then refrigerate it in an air tight container for a couple of days.)

1. Mash up half an avocado with a fork until creamy
2. Add 1 tablespoon of natural honey
3. Stir in 1 tablespoon of natural yogurt
4. Wash your face with warm water and pat dry
5. Apply thin layer of the mask to your face and neck
6. Lie back and relax and allow the mask to work its magic for around 15 minutes
7. Rinse thoroughly with warm water

Cucumber Eyes
It's not a myth, slices of cucumbers on the eyes really do work to refresh and hydrate your eyes and reduce bags and dark circles. Peel a couple of slices and gently place them on your eyes while you do your face mask.

May your pores enjoy!
