Create Windows 7, Vista and XP boot disk with WBI Creator

If you copied the files and folders from the installation disc of Windows 7, Vista or XP to the hard drive of your PC and now want to burn them to a new CD or DVD, you need to create a Windows boot disk. WBI Creator (Windows Bootable Image Creator) is a small portable tool that offers a simple and easy way to create a boot disk to install Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP.

To create the boot disk of Windows, WBI Creator creates a file from the ISO bootable Windows installation files you have on your computer, ready to be burned to a CD or DVD. To use the WBI Creator, just download the ZIP file, extract it and run the EXE file. With the program open, select the operating system you want to create the boot disk (Windows 7, Vista or XP).

Then add any name for the label of the CD or DVD drive, the folder containing the installation files for Windows, a folder to save the ISO file and click Go to continue.

Okay, now just wait for the program to create the ISO file and then burn it onto a CD or DVD using any program for burning CDs and DVDs, as free software CDBurnerXP and ImgBurn .

Also, if you created the ISO file to install Windows 7, you can burn it to a flash drive to install Windows 7 from it. To do this, read the article How to install Windows 7 by the stick.

In summary, WBI Creator is a great solution to create a Windows boot disk. It’s very simple, easy to use and works like a charm. Compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
