Visual.ly is the largest data visualization showcase in the world, providing endless inspiration for designers, publishers and enthusiasts. Visually, is a plattform to explore visual data because nowadays, let's face it, we think "visually".
We live in the age of data collection and content creation. We create 1.5 billion pieces of content on Facebook, 140 million Tweets and 2 million YouTubes in just one day. And we love infographics (dataporn) that combine ideas, stories and insights into our behaviors.
This morning as I was reading this article I thought to myself, there's a lot of buzz about it and I still can't get to the core of the problem. So after googling for a while I came across this video, which was part of the "Visually" plattform, which sums it up perfectly in about two minutes and a half.
