Ubuntu does not bite, is the GNU/ Linux more easy to use. It allows you to test the distribution before deciding to install, in addition to backups, updates to our records, we do not want to retrieve information lost in the system, etc.. If you have a question can not be easier.

Choose Language: is a list of languages available on Ubuntu 12.04, and where certainly you can find every language on the planet. Linux is certainly more community works to achieve a linguistic localization total. An example is the work done in Gnome ... but that's another topic.
2.Preparing to Install Ubuntu: We clicked on the "Install Ubuntu" which has led us to the window where we can verify that we have everything you need for proper installation, as have at least 4.4 GB of free space on your hard, take our laptop connected a socket (this option does not appear if you are installing Ubuntu on a desktop computer) and an Internet connection.
If only you have a wireless Internet connection can use the network-manager to connect to this in case your network adapter to work properly with the free included in the latest version of the kernel. To connect to a wireless network, you just have to click the network icon you will see at the top right of your monitor.
Additionally, the Welcome window displays two options:
a) Download updates while installing:This option allows you to download the latest software and security updates for this version of Ubuntu. If you are installing Ubuntu 12.04 on a Pangolin Precise recently to launch mark is a good option, if at a later date it is better not to mark it as it can extend quite the process of installing Ubuntu 12.04 and we can perform these updates once the system is installed.
b) Install this software from third parties:this option allows you to install a series of free plugins and software do not usually use when surfing the Internet, listen to music and watch video, making it a good choice to start work as soon as we finished installing Ubuntu 12.04Precise Pangolin on our team.
If you all ready, we will continue with the installation by clicking the "Continue" button.
3. Installation Type:We are in the complex stage of the installation, here we have to choose the type of installation of Ubuntu 12.04, and type, we refer to the way that our drives will be partitioned or which particular partition will be installed distribution. For practical purposes, this guide will install Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin on a clean hard drive, so the Ubuntu installer only shows two options, but typically is something like the following screen:
a) Remove disk and install Ubuntu:this option, as you described, delete all information stored on a hard drive (which is why we must proceed with caution), creating two partitions. A root partition (/) in which installed the filesystem and a swap partition (swap) for the extended memory that is usually double the RAM we installed on our computer, leaving the remaining space for the partition root. b) Another thing:this option allows you to create a custom partition table on a hard, while if we have partitions or disks with sensitive information, we will maintain these records intact to avoid loss of information. The options presented by the installer in Ubuntu 12.04 on this part of the installation may vary depending on your hard drive if there are other operating systems installed, or if a previous installation of Ubuntu which can be updated or changed.
It is recommended to consult a guide partitioning advanced GNU/Linux in case you want to do a manual partitioning our hard drives.
As I indicated before, this guide to choose the "Erase disk and install Ubuntu" and subsequently click on the "Continue" button.
Remove disk and install Ubuntu: Importantly, this is a critical step. Make sure the hard drive name chosen is correct. "Clear disk and install Ubuntu", is the complete erasure of the existing data on your disk. If you are sure you click on"Install Now"
The file system to use the default partition is ext4, used by default for Ubuntu 12.04. If you want this you have to select "More" in the previous step.
We proceed to click on the "Install Now" to continue the hard disk formatting and installing the required packages for Ubuntu 12.04.

a) Location: Where are we? Ubuntu asks us our location in the world in order to adjust our setup times. Generally the Ubuntu installer automatically answers for us with a high degree of accuracy. Leaving us with the responsibility to verify that this choice is correct then click the "Continue" button.
b) Keyboard Layout: This is a step that is generally overlooked by most users, but in my view, is of great importance not only to write comfortably and without errors, but also to prevent catastrophic damage to our system when using command line is.
In the latter case, the Ubuntu installer allows us to detect the correct distribution of the keyboard. We just have to keep pressing the keys that appear in a wizard.
To access this help, we just have to click on the "Detect keyboard layout" and press the keys in the pop-up message asking for the installer knows exactly what the language of your keyboard.
Do we have it? We click on the "Continue" to continue installation.
c) User Configuration:In this step of the installation, you have to define the name that will have your computer on the network, your user name and password.
The team name is the name that other computers will recognize you when you're on a network, even when the network is small.
You can specify whether you want to enter login automatically or by entering your password. This option varies depending on the type of person, I personally prefer Ubuntu to ask me my password before logging in to the computer.
You can also choose whether or not to encrypt the files in your directory, be careful, if you do not know what this is or have no experience, you better not use it, because you could never never see your personal files. It is the last step, click on the "Continue" to continue installation.
