[Question] What's the difference between...
Hi community! This question might be very silly, but I just can't get it out of my head..
What's the difference between "She loves me not" and "She doesn't love me".
I know, the difference is there's an auxiliar: "do".
But my question is if does that makes any difference in the sentence... perhaps it emphasizes it.
Well thanks! greetings!.
Ps: "Forget me not" "Don't forget me"... just another example...

The first sentence is gramatically wrong. May depend on the context.
The second sentence is gramatically correct and is a negative sentence in Simple present
The same happens in your other example.
Hope I helped.
Forget me no isn't really used nowadays. it's more of an old style of speaking
The first sentence is usually used by YODA ...
Understood, very well, thank you!!
